On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for October delivery traded at USD95.83 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.14%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD95.88 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD93.45 and resistance at USD96.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.17% to trade at USD82.92.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for October delivery rose 0.22% to trade at USD102.84 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.01 a barrel.
