Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD97.38 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.22%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD97.47 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD96.75 and resistance at USD98.58.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.06% to trade at USD81.72.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for October delivery fell 0.22% to trade at USD104.61 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.23 a barrel.
