Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher during the Asian session on Wednesday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for September delivery traded at USD97.58 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.21%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD97.72 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD97.00 and resistance at USD98.67.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.02% to trade at USD81.61.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for September delivery rose 0.20% to trade at USD104.94 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD7.36 a barrel.
