Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Banking and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS), which rose 6.89% or 0.7 points to trade at 10.4 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 2.77% or 6.4 points to end at 237.6 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 2.59% or 0.05 points to 1.98 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 7.61% or 1.78 points to trade at 21.60 in late trade. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 5.01% or 1.8 points to end at 33.3 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 3.09% or 0.19 points to 5.96.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 87 to 85 and 21 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.71% or 0.76 to $45.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.73% or 0.78 to hit $45.79 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.77% or 22.55 to trade at $1294.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.32% to 9.3548, while USD/NOK rose 0.23% to 8.1899.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 93.67.
