Investment Strategy

The investment objective of the Sygnia Enhanced All Bond Fund is to outperform the JSE All Bond Composite Index (ALBI). The fund is managed internally and is a systematically managed active fund. The fund will strive to match the sum of the ALBI constituents as closely as possible in terms of duration and convexity exposure where liquidity allows. The fund will target outperformance over the ALBI mostly through the additional credit spread earned by holding debt of South Africa’s major banks as well as corporate and State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) debt.
