Investment Strategy

The investment seeks total return through investment in real estate securities. To pursue its investment objective, the fund will invest, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets in securities of real estate and real estate-related companies, or in companies which own significant real estate assets at the time of purchase ("real estate companies") including Real Estate Investment Trusts ("REITs").

Shawn is the lead Portfolio Manager of the Stratton Mid Cap Value product and Associate Portfolio Manager of the Stratton Small Cap Value and Stratton Real Estate products. John serves on numerous civic boards and is currently an Overseer at William Penn Charter School and a Trustee of Woodmere Art Museum and the Philadelphia Orchestra. He earned his bachelor's degree in pre-law from Lafayette College and his MBA from Temple University.

Biography	Stratton founded Stratton Management Company in 1972 and currently serves as chairman and chief executive officer. Stratton serves as a director of the following: Amerigas Propane Ltd., BE&K Corp., Teleflex, Inc. and UGI Corp., Inc. Previously, Stratton served as president and chief executive officer with Drexel Firestone and chairman of the board of trustees of Thomas Jefferson University. Stratton is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research.

Biography	Previously, he spent three years as a corporate officer with Merrill Lynch and four years as a corporate officer with William D. Witter Inc. He also spent nine years as a vice president and partner with Drexel Corporation. Heffernan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
