Investment Strategy

The Fund seeks to provide investors with consistent capital growth and income after inflation by investing in fixed interest securities that offer a high correlation to the rate of inflation. The portfolio will invest in assets in liquid form and in a mix of fixed interest securities such as bonds, inflation linked bonds and money market instruments depending on interest and inflation expectations. The investment manager will also be allowed to invest in financial instruments (derivatives) as allowed by the Act from time to time in order to achieve its investment objective. This portfolio will be managed on a multi manager basis and Sanlam Multi Manager International will appoint the best of breed manager(s) to manage the portfolio.
