Investment Strategy

The objective of the Janus Balanced Fund is to invest its assets in Class I2 USD of the Underlying Fund, which is the Janus Henderson Balanced Fund of Janus Henderson Capital Funds plc. The Underlying Fund’s investment objective is long-term capital growth, consistent with preservation of capital and balanced by current income. The Underlying Fund pursues its objective by investing 35%-65% of its net asset value in equities (also known as company shares) and at least 35-65% of its net asset value in Debt Securities and loan participations. At least 80% of its net asset value is invested in US Companies and US Issuers. The aggregate amount of the Underlying Fund which may be invested in securities traded on the Developing Markets is 10% of the net asset value of the Underlying Fund. The Underlying Fund may invest up to 35% of its net asset value in Debt Securities rated below investment grade.

Biography Mayur Saigal is a Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2013. From 2009 to 2018, he was also head of fundamental fixed income risk.
