Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to provide total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing primarily in a diversified mix of stocks, debt securities and short-term instruments, depending on market conditions. Regarding its income-generating equity investments, it invests primarily in medium to large, well-established companies. The fund invests at least 50% of its total assets in equity securities including convertible securities.

Biography Stefan Löwenthal is the chief investment officer for Macquarie Investment Management Austria Kapitalanlage AG (MIMAK), a role he assumed in February 2013. He heads the global multi asset team based in Vienna, which is responsible for all asset allocation and security selection decisions, the management of mutual funds, as well as the development of new investment strategies. In addition, Löwenthal oversees the investment policy committee, which is responsible for strategic investment decisions at MIMAK. He began his career with Macquarie in February 2008 as a portfolio manager. He holds a Master of Management Science from Vienna University of Economics and Business. Löwenthal is a lecturer for economics at the IMC University of applied sciences in Krems (Austria) and the Qiongzhou University in Sanya (China).

Biography Matt joined Waterfront on November 16, 2021 as the portfolio manager of the Waterfront Balanced and Waterfront Equity strategies. Prior to Waterfront, Matt spent 18 years at Waddell & Reed / Ivy Investments. He joined Waddell & Reed in 2003 and transitioned into the Investment Management Division in 2005. He was an equity investment analyst covering a variety of sector and industry groups from 2005 to 2014. In 2009, in addition to his analyst responsibilities, he was named Assistant Portfolio Manager on the Large Cap Growth strategy. In 2011, Matt transitioned to Assistant Portfolio Manager of the Large Cap Value strategy. Biography Allen D. Steinkopf joined Mairs and Power, Inc. in 2013 as Vice President and Investment Manager. Effective January 1, 2015, Mr. Steinkopf was named co‐manager. Mr. Steinkopf began his career as a research analyst with MIMLIC Asset Management and later with an independent subsidiary of MIMLIC. He started at Advantus as assistant portfolio manager and senior analyst and eventually became co‐manager of the Advantus Large Cap Growth Portfolio and the Advantus Balanced Fund. He was managing director and senior portfolio manager of First American Large Cap Value Fund from 2003 to 2004, head of equities for Advantus Capital Management Inc. from 2001 to 2003, and chief investment officer of the growth and income group for Evergreen Investment Management Co. from 1998 to 2001. Mr. Finn holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
