The investment seeks total return, with a focus on income exempt from federal income tax and New York individual income tax and capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets (including the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in municipal bonds that pay interest exempt from U.S. federal income tax (including the federal alternative minimum tax) and New York individual income tax. The fund is non-diversified.
