The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to seek to achieve an attractive long-term rate of return, measured in U.S. Dollars. The Sub-Fund primarily invests (at least 70% of total net assets) in equities of companies in the world’s developed countries. The Sub-Fund may also invest, on an ancillary basis (up to 30% of total net assets), in preference shares, warrants on securities and other equity linked securities, to gain exposure to companies in developed and emerging markets, as well as equities of emerging market companies and China A-shares (through Stock Connect). The Sub-Fund may invest up to 10% of its total net assets in China A-shares (through Stock Connect). The Sub-Fund may also hold contingent convertible bonds and convertible bonds (which will not exceed 20% of its total net assets) if received as an entitlement from a corporate actions event.

Biography | Veronika Pechlaner is a Fund Manager in the Global Equities team with direct responsibility for Ashburton’s global equity funds. She also works closely with Nick Lee on the Global Equity Portfolio product. Veronika joined Ashburton as part of the European Equities team in 2008. Prior to this, Veronika was Investment Manager in the European Equities team. She also worked as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in London where she started her career in 2001 in Pan-European equity research. Veronika is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and has a Masters’ degree in Finance and International Management from the University of Innsbruck (Austria). She also participated in the 1999 exchange programme at Tulane University in the United States. | ||

He has direct responsibility for the core services of Asset Management, Cash & Fixed Income and Equities Management through the Specialist Managers. Nick is also the Investment Manager responsible for the International Equity Funds and the Americas Fund. From 1979 to 1988, he worked in the Investment Management team at Barclays de Zoete Wedd. Nick is a Member of the Securities Institute and joined Ashburton in 1988. |
