Investment Strategy

The Fund aims to provide a higher total return (the combination of capital growth and income), net of the Ongoing Charge Figure, than that of the S&P 500 Index, over any five-year period. At least 80% of the Fund is invested directly in equity securities and equity related securities of companies across any sectors and market capitalisations that are incorporated, domiciled, or do most of their business activity in the United States of America and Canada.

Biography	Richard S. Brody, CFA, Executive Vice President and Head of Equity Management. Mr. Brody has over 34 years of investment industry experience. Prior to joining PPM in 1992, Mr. Brody was a senior member of the investment team at the Chicago Group of Morgan Stanley Asset Management. Previously, he spent seven years at Hewitt Associates. Mr. Brody has also worked at the First National Bank of Chicago in their trust investment unit. Mr. Brody received a BA in Economics from UCLA and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed the Chartered Financial Analyst program in 1982.
