Biography Stephen Snaith is a Portfolio Manager within the European Core Equity team at Allianz Global Investors, having joined the firm in 2001 from Schroders. Biography Jörg de Vries-Hippen is CIO European Equities as well as Portfolio Manager for the European equity core products. He is also responsible for the Swiss equity funds and has managed them since 1995. Jörg has worked for Allianz Global Investors since 1992. Before joining the European equities team in 1994, he served as Junior Fund Manager for Japanese equities. From 1994 to 2001, Jörg was in charge of Italy, Spain and Switzerland. He later developed our Eurozone franchise. Starting in 2003, he served as team leader for European Large Caps in Frankfurt. In 2007, he was appointed Co-CIO European Equities and took over as sole CIO European Equities in 2010. Jörg obtained his degree in business administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany in 1993, and holds the title of Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) from the Society of Investment Professionals in Germany (DVFA).

Biography Steffen Weyl was a portfolio manager in the European Long/Short Equity team of Allianz Global Investors. He was responsible for the management of Allianz Discovery Europe Opportunities as co-lead portfolio manager. He started his career at Allianz Global Investors in 2008 as a participant in the Global Graduate Programme. Steffen holds a master’s degree in business administration (“Diplom-Kaufmann”) with a focus on banking and finance from Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. Prior to his academic education Steffen completed a general banking apprenticeship at Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz in 2003 where he also worked as a money market and FX sales trader prior to his studies. Steffen is a CFA charterholder.

Biography Mr. Dwane is CIO Equity Europe with Allianz Global Investors, which he joined in 2001. He is responsible for equity portfolio management, research and trading activities in Frankfurt, Paris and London, overseeing 130 investment professionals and EUR 63 billion in assets under management. Mr. Dwane is a member of the firm’s European Executive Committee and the chairperson of the European Equity Management Group. As a portfolio manager, he manages nearly EUR 4 billion in assets for the firm. Mr. Dwane has 26 years of investment-industry experience. He previously worked at JP Morgan Investment Management as a UK and European specialist portfolio manager. Before that, Mr. Dwane worked at Fleming Investment Management and at Kleinwort Benson Investment Management as an analyst and a fund manager. He has a B.A. in classics from Durham University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
