Does anyone understand why XOP is not moving closely together with WTI? On Friday XOP went up 10% while WTI closed with -8%....It just doesn't make sense to me. I would like to understand the reason for these ups and downs in XOP. I completely understand the different ups and downs of WTI based on the news of the Oil & Gas industry, but I really don't understand the behaviour of XOP. Can anyone enlighten me? Thank you in advance!

because we are near the start of the next bull run. how much further do you expect oil to fall. zero forever? you need to look out further not much reward left on short side
