iShares III Public Limited Company - iShares Core Euro Government Bond UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited. The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Financial Management Inc., BlackRock (Singapore) Limited, and BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. It invests in the fixed income markets of European Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) region. The fund invests in the fixed-rate, Euro denominated government bonds with at least one year remaining until maturity. It invests in the investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody's. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays Euro Treasury Bond Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares III Public Limited Company - iShares Euro Government Bond UCITS ETF. iShares III Public Limited Company - iShares Core Euro Government Bond UCITS ETF was formed on April 17, 2009 and is domiciled in Ireland.
