what I have been seeing is my investment goes down if the price of oil goes down to. But with an increase in oil price my investment remains in a negative position. I bought when oil was at $24 and even $19, oil is now $31 but yet I'm in a position where I'm still minus almost 50%. why?

they have halted trading on oil products, but if the price goes down they deduct your investment but if the price of oil increases they do not adjust it correctly, making sure you are always in negative
