Price Action Trading

Many short-term traders rely exclusively on price action and the formations and trends extrapolated to
make trading decisions. Technical analysis is a derivative of price action since it uses past prices in
calculations that can then be used to inform trading decisions.
A price action analysis is based on studying, reading, and interpreting a market's price movement over
time, using raw price charts to trade the market (no indicators). By learning to read the price action, we
can determine a market's directional bias and trade from reoccurring price action patterns or price
action setups that reflect changes or continuations in market sentiment.
