Alessio Rastani – Independent market trader at LeadingTrader.com – joins Zak Mir – Technical analyst at Share Prophet – to give his take on when would be the best time to invest in the S&P 500.
Performance indexes give negative outlook
Alessio Rastani analysed several index, including the McClellan Summation index, which show negative connotations for the future of the global economy. While not a wholly reliable indicator, Rastani believes a potential correction of the markets could be imminent in late September or October.
S&P 500 to bounce back from the bottom
As the S&P 500 looks increasingly set to fall, Alessio recommends holding off on buying until it hits lows of 2040. While it will receive support at this level, there’s potential for it to drop further, down to 2030, where it will likely face strong support and bounce back from the bottom of this range.
