U.S. stocks traded mostly higher this morning, with the Dow Jones gaining over 50 points on Monday.
Following the market opening Monday, the Dow traded up 0.17% to 34,678.78 while the NASDAQ rose 0.09% to 13,721.11. The S&P 500, also rose, gaining, 0.02% to 4,451.03.

Leading and Lagging Sectors
Energy shares rose by 0.8% on Monday.
In trading on Monday, real estate shares fell by 0.8%.
Top Headline
Canopy Growth Corporation (NASDAQ: CGC) entered Monday into subscription agreements with certain institutional investors in a private placement offering of 22.93 million units at a price of $1.09 per unit. The aggregate gross proceeds from this offering would amount to approximately $25 million.
Equities Trading UP
SCWorx Corp. (NASDAQ: WORX) shares shot up 73% to $0.3260.
Shares of Avinger, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVGR) got a boost, shooting 65% to $6.74 amid the company announcing the commercial launch of its Tigereye ST image-guided CTO crossing device.
SeqLL Inc. (NASDAQ: SQL) shares were also up, gaining 57% to $20.81 after the company announced the date of its cash and stock dividend.
Equities Trading DOWN
Earlyworks Co., Ltd (NASDAQ: ELWS) shares dropped 36% to $0.8446. Earlyworks, during July, priced its IPO of 1.2 million ADSs at $5.00 per ADS.
Shares of STRATA Skin Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: SSKN) were down 28% to $0.7226.
AgriFORCE Growing Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: AGRI) was down, falling 19% to $0.1180. AgriFORCE Growing Systems announced commercial launch and first purchase order for its AgriFORCE-RCS Hydroxyl Device.

Commodities
In commodity news, oil traded up 1% to $91.63 while gold traded down 0.1% at $1,945.50.
Silver traded down 0.2% to $23.34 on Monday while copper fell 0.5% to $3.7810.
Euro zone
European shares were lower today. The eurozone’s STOXX 600 fell 1% London’s FTSE 100 fell 0.6% while Spain’s IBEX 35 Index fell 0.6% The German DAX fell 0.9% French CAC 40 fell 1.3%, while Italy’s FTSE MIB Index fell 0.9%.
The BNP Paribas Real Estate Construction PMI for Ireland fell to 44.9 in August versus 45.6 in July.
Asia Pacific Markets
Asian markets closed mostly higher on Monday, with Japan’s Nikkei 225 gaining 1.10%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index rising 0.75% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index falling 0.28%. India’s S&P BSE Sensex, meanwhile, rose 0.5%.
Singapore's non-oil domestic exports dipped by 20.1% year-over-year in August following a revised 20.3% decline in July.
Economics
The housing market index for September will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET.
