Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 9.66% or 1.00 points to trade at 11.35 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 5.39% or 1.30 points to end at 25.40 and Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:4080) was up 4.98% or 0.60 points to 12.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170), which lost 5.04% or 0.60 points to trade at 11.30 in late trade. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) declined 4.64% or 0.55 points to end at 11.30 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) shed 4.51% or 0.60 points to 12.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 117 to 37 and 15 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.63% or 0.76 to $45.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.39% or 0.67 to hit $47.47 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.80% or 10.35 to trade at $1298.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.37% to 4.1612, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.42% at 97.35.
