Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Media & Publishing and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 10.00% or 0.350 points to trade at 3.850 at the close. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 8.98% or 3.60 points to end at 43.70 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) was up 7.88% or 3.80 points to 52.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which lost 6.25% or 0.30 points to trade at 4.50 in late trade. Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) declined 3.70% or 1.60 points to end at 41.60 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) shed 3.10% or 0.45 points to 14.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 73 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.39% or 0.21 to $54.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.58% or 0.33 to hit $57.13 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.36% or 16.45 to trade at $1224.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.36% to 4.0534, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 99.41.
