Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Media & Publishing and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 2.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010), which rose 7.99% or 11.40 points to trade at 154.00 at the close. Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (TADAWUL:1322) added 3.96% or 2.40 points to end at 63.00 and Taleem REIT Fund (TADAWUL:4333) was up 2.17% or 0.24 points to 11.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL:4280), which lost 10.00% or 0.92 points to trade at 8.28 in late trade. Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4143) declined 9.98% or 5.90 points to end at 53.20 and Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co (TADAWUL:3007) shed 9.95% or 4.00 points to 36.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 277 to 27 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.84% or 2.17 to $74.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.45% or 1.95 to hit $77.57 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 5.30 to trade at $2,486.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.16% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.16% at 103.00.
