Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Cement and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.93% or 1.80 points to trade at 19.92 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 9.88% or 2.40 points to end at 26.70 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 8.41% or 1.16 points to 14.96 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333), which lost 5.25% or 0.62 points to trade at 11.18 in late trade. Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) declined 5.02% or 0.82 points to end at 15.52 and AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) shed 4.58% or 0.70 points to 14.58.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 134 to 43 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.28% or 0.21 to $73.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.91% or 0.72 to hit $78.51 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 5.90 to trade at $1248.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.68% to 4.3529, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7519.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.65% at 94.84.
