Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Cement and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which rose 6.66% or 2.02 points to trade at 32.35 at the close. Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) added 5.45% or 6.87 points to end at 133.00 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) was up 5.32% or 8.76 points to 173.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which lost 7.08% or 1.00 points to trade at 13.12 in late trade. Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304) declined 6.20% or 1.52 points to end at 23.00 and Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350) shed 4.91% or 0.61 points to 11.82.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 125 to 53 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.47% or 0.30 to $63.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.13% or 0.09 to hit $66.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.32% or 4.20 to trade at $1325.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.34% to 4.6270, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 89.74.
