Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Energy & Utilities and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322), which rose 7.10% or 0.86 points to trade at 12.98 at the close. Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020) added 4.94% or 1.10 points to end at 23.38 and Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303) was up 4.53% or 0.30 points to 6.92 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084), which lost 9.60% or 3.85 points to trade at 36.25 in late trade. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) declined 5.92% or 1.28 points to end at 20.34 and Saudi Manpower Solutions Co (TADAWUL:1834) shed 5.47% or 0.58 points to 10.02.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 198 to 81 and 24 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.42% or 1.10 to $76.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.43% or 1.17 to hit $80.54 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.91% or 46.15 to trade at $2,369.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 104.07.
