Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Telecoms & IT and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 5.32% or 2.50 points to trade at 49.50 at the close. Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350) added 4.54% or 0.48 points to end at 11.06 and Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) was up 2.20% or 0.35 points to 16.26 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which lost 9.88% or 1.28 points to trade at 11.68 in late trade. Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) declined 3.85% or 0.51 points to end at 12.72 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) shed 3.20% or 0.86 points to 26.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 70 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.18% or 0.11 to $60.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.43% or 0.29 to hit $66.58 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.70 to trade at $1314.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.5127, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 91.75.
