Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Petrochemicals, Multi Investment and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020), which rose 5.00% or 1.10 points to trade at 23.08 at the close. The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 4.23% or 0.52 points to end at 12.82 and Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) was up 3.05% or 0.74 points to 25.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170), which lost 2.45% or 0.75 points to trade at 29.80 in late trade. Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) declined 2.30% or 0.80 points to end at 34.00 and United Electronics Company (SE:4003) shed 2.28% or 1.05 points to 45.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 60 and 9 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.93% or 0.44 to $47.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $51.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.92 to trade at $1295.92 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.10% to 4.4738, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7516.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 92.47.
