Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Retail sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which rose 9.99% or 1.38 points to trade at 15.20 at the close. The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010) added 5.97% or 3.10 points to end at 55.00 and Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) was up 4.90% or 1.14 points to 24.42 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dur Hospitality (SE:4010), which lost 3.29% or 0.66 points to trade at 19.40 in late trade. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) declined 3.04% or 0.66 points to end at 21.02 and Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) shed 2.54% or 0.52 points to 19.94.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 74 and 11 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.27% or 0.18 to $67.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.49% or 0.38 to hit $77.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 4.50 to trade at $1195.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.3459, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 95.22.
