Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which rose 10.17% or 0.60 points to trade at 6.50 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 9.68% or 0.60 points to end at 6.80 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) was up 6.13% or 0.50 points to 8.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which lost 3.14% or 0.40 points to trade at 12.35 in late trade. Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) declined 2.59% or 0.35 points to end at 13.15 and Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) shed 1.79% or 1.00 points to 55.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 101 to 44 and 24 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.61% or 0.31 to $50.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.57% or 0.30 to hit $52.11 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1257.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.36% to 4.1317, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.21% at 97.93.
