Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Industrial Investment and Cement sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which rose 6.54% or 1.40 points to trade at 22.80 at the close. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 4.42% or 2.00 points to end at 47.20 and Riyad REIT (SE:4330) was up 4.24% or 0.60 points to 14.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which lost 5.15% or 0.75 points to trade at 13.80 in late trade. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 2.90% or 1.10 points to end at 36.80 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) shed 2.58% or 0.90 points to 34.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 52 and 28 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.08% or 1.03 to $48.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.16% or 1.13 to hit $51.28 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.94 to trade at $1267.14 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.0770, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 99.07.
