Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 9.86% or 0.83 points to trade at 9.25 at the close. Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) added 4.62% or 2.43 points to end at 55.00 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was up 4.49% or 2.61 points to 60.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which lost 9.77% or 3.80 points to trade at 35.10 in late trade. Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) declined 7.69% or 2.60 points to end at 31.20 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) shed 4.43% or 2.04 points to 44.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 113 to 53 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.42% or 1.14 to $45.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 3.28% or 1.72 to hit $50.49 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.39% or 4.30 to trade at $1090.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.1141, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 97.46.
