Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 9.94% or 2.24 points to trade at 24.78 at the close. Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) added 6.42% or 1.90 points to end at 31.50 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) was up 6.30% or 1.65 points to 27.85 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which lost 3.75% or 3.30 points to trade at 84.70 in late trade. Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100) declined 2.26% or 1.90 points to end at 82.00 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) shed 1.99% or 0.40 points to 19.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 148 to 25 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.05% or 0.71 to $68.54 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $76.13 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.53% or 18.30 to trade at $1212.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.68% to 4.3591, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 95.08.
