Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Petrochemicals and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which rose 6.24% or 1.07 points to trade at 18.22 at the close. Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333) added 6.20% or 0.66 points to end at 11.30 and Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380) was up 5.50% or 1.16 points to 22.24 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which lost 1.88% or 0.23 points to trade at 12.02 in late trade. ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) declined 1.76% or 0.23 points to end at 12.86 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) shed 1.40% or 0.31 points to 21.78.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 152 to 27 and 4 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.04% or 1.21 to $60.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.67% or 1.05 to hit $63.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.90 to trade at $1321.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 4.5999, while USD/SAR rose 0.05% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 90.14.
