Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which rose 10.00% or 1.82 points to trade at 20.02 at the close. Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) added 9.87% or 1.08 points to end at 12.02 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) was up 6.86% or 0.94 points to 14.64 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130), which lost 3.02% or 0.52 points to trade at 16.68 in late trade. Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) declined 2.32% or 0.23 points to end at 9.67 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) shed 1.82% or 0.50 points to 27.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 101 to 67 and 20 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.01% or 0.01 to $68.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.61% or 0.47 to hit $76.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.80 to trade at $1217.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.35% to 4.3964, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 94.38.
