Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 10.00% or 2.60 points to trade at 28.60 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) added 9.94% or 0.81 points to end at 8.96 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 8.56% or 0.56 points to 7.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which lost 9.94% or 2.42 points to trade at 21.92 in late trade. Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) declined 6.71% or 1.54 points to end at 21.40 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250) shed 2.50% or 0.52 points to 20.32.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 130 to 42 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $56.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.16% or 0.10 to hit $63.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.17 to trade at $1287.87 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.30% to 4.3613, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 94.51.
