Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Real Estate Development and Media & Publishing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280), which rose 9.97% or 0.91 points to trade at 10.04 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) added 9.88% or 0.93 points to end at 10.34 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was up 6.75% or 1.94 points to 30.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which lost 9.89% or 1.42 points to trade at 12.94 in late trade. Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) declined 3.76% or 6.39 points to end at 163.40 and Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SE:2010) shed 2.82% or 3.07 points to 105.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 110 to 68 and 5 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.08% or 0.71 to $66.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $70.15 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 14.50 to trade at $1348.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.18% to 4.6582, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 88.87.
