Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Building & Construction and Cement sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which rose 6.99% or 0.350 points to trade at 5.360 at the close. Halwani Bros (SE:6001) added 5.37% or 2.70 points to end at 53.00 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was up 3.83% or 0.70 points to 19.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260), which lost 7.98% or 2.60 points to trade at 30.00 in late trade. Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) declined 6.98% or 4.50 points to end at 60.00 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) shed 4.91% or 1.30 points to 25.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 63 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.54% or 0.36 to $67.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.05% or 0.79 to hit $76.28 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1300.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.76% to 4.3612, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 94.30.
