Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Real Estate Development and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 5.50% or 1.14 points to trade at 21.86 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) added 4.61% or 3.22 points to end at 73.00 and Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) was up 2.33% or 0.99 points to 43.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which lost 4.32% or 1.08 points to trade at 23.90 in late trade. AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) declined 2.92% or 0.66 points to end at 21.92 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) shed 2.44% or 0.37 points to 14.82.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 65 and 12 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.41% or 0.21 to $50.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.23% or 0.13 to hit $56.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.65% or 21.72 to trade at $1294.68 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.4684, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 92.16.
