Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which rose 0.74% or 1.90 points to trade at 258.50 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.73% or 7.0 points to end at 967.0 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 0.57% or 0.35 points to 61.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 3.58% or 8.9 points to trade at 240.0 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.33% or 115 points to end at 8515 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.07% or 95 points to 8810.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 79 to 58 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.08% or 0.52 to $48.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.77% or 0.38 to hit $49.66 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.33% or 4.25 to trade at $1272.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.5974, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.21% at 94.75.
