Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.08% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which rose 1.48% or 270 points to trade at 18460 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 1.02% or 35 points to end at 3470 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) was up 0.77% or 5.7 points to 744.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included International (TA:FTIN), which lost 1.43% or 70 points to trade at 4821 in late trade. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 1.30% or 20 points to end at 1522 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) shed 1.27% or 210 points to 16360.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 206 to 142 and 97 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.87% or 0.89 to $46.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.79% or 0.90 to hit $49.25 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1325.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.32% to 3.7883, while EUR/ILS rose 0.04% to 4.2306.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 95.73.
