Users of Spotify's (NYSE:SPOT) rumored "Supremium" tier will be offered 24-bit Lossless music and the capacity to make playlists with artificial intelligence, a report stated on Tuesday.
The plan is said to start at a monthly subscription price of $19.99, Music Business Worldwide reported, citing a Reddit user named Hypixely, who mentioned a code for the Supremium project known internally at the music streaming platform as project "Nemo."
Spotify recently raised its price plans, with a premium individual account moving to $10.99 per month. Spotify said the move enabled them to "keep innovating" and "continue to deliver value to fans and artists on our platform."
Bloomberg first reported about a potential Supremium Spotify plan back in June, stating it is expected to include a HiFi feature.
Meanwhile, MusicBusiness Worldwide said Reddit user Hypixely stated Supremium will also offer an AI-driven playlist generation feature, as well as 30 hours of audiobook listening per month.
Furthermore, the post stated that Supremium tier subscribers will be able to filter their library based on activity, mood and genre, as well as access to advanced mixing tools.
