With U.S. stock futures trading lower this morning on Tuesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:
- Wall Street expects Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) to report quarterly earnings at $4.79 per share on revenue of $16.59 billion before the opening bell. Caterpillar shares fell 0.2% to $241.75 in after-hours trading.
- FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC) reported weaker-than-expected results for its third quarter. The company also reaffirmed its full-year forecast. FMC shares fell 4.2% to $55.55 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts expect Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) to earn 68 cents per share on revenue of $5.70 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings after the markets close. AMD shares gained 0.1% to $96.30 in after-hours trading.
- Western Digital Corp (NASDAQ: WDC) shares gained over 7% in regular trading hours on Monday after the company reported upbeat first-quarter results and announced a plan to separate its HDD and Flash businesses. However, the company’s stock fell 4.9% to $39.75 in the after-hours trading session after reporting a proposed $1.3 billion convertible notes offering.
- Analysts expect Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) to report a quarterly loss at 34 cents per share on revenue of $13.34 billion before the opening bell. Pfizer shares gained 0.4% to $30.67 in after-hours trading.
