Investing.com – Peru equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Non-Metal Minerals, S&P Lima Juniors and Food & Beverages sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General rose 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Andino Investment Holding SAA (LM:AIH), which rose 5.00% or 0.100 points to trade at 2.100 at the close. Relapasa (LM:REL) added 2.21% or 0.007 points to end at 0.323 and Unacem (LM:CEL) was up 2.07% or 0.060 points to 2.960 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atacocha (LM:ATB), which lost 4.17% or 0.030 points to trade at 0.690 in late trade. Minera Irl (LM:IRL) unchanged 3.41% or 0.00 points to end at 0.09 and Ferreyros (LM:FER) shed 2.68% or 0.070 points to 2.540.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 13 and 10 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.89% or 0.48 to $54.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $61.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 5.60 to trade at $1272.10 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2465, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.7863.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 94.45.
