Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Energy, Capital Goods and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo), which rose 4.04% or 21.5 points to trade at 553.5 at the close. Schibsted ASA (OSLO:SBST) added 2.27% or 10.9 points to end at 490.5 and Yara International ASA (OSLO:YAR) was up 2.07% or 8.0 points to 395.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL), which lost 10.14% or 11.1 points to trade at 98.4 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OSLO:PGS) declined 5.45% or 3.00 points to end at 52.00 and DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO) shed 3.80% or 0.46 points to 11.66.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 73 and 5 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.87% or 0.52 to $59.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.34% or 0.23 to hit $66.47 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1223.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.60% to 8.3577, while USD/NOK fell 0.82% to 7.3094.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 93.34.
