Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 2.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS), which rose 5.34% or 0.58 points to trade at 11.45 at the close. Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) fell 0.07% or 0.10 points to end at 133.40 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) was down 0.09% or 1.00 points to 1,085.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which lost 7.28% or 0.41 points to trade at 5.25 in late trade. TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 6.61% or 7.80 points to end at 110.20 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) shed 5.44% or 7.60 points to 132.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 242 to 45 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 4.11% or 3.02 to $70.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 4.54% or 3.52 to hit $74.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 18.40 to trade at $2,509.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.81% to 11.81, while USD/NOK rose 1.11% to 10.70.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.73.
