Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Energy and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which rose 6.05% or 4.90 points to trade at 85.90 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 2.35% or 5.90 points to end at 257.40 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 2.24% or 1.0 points to 46.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 4.22% or 3.05 points to trade at 69.25 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 3.77% or 0.59 points to end at 15.06 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 3.03% or 0.29 points to 9.12.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 89 to 87 and 33 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.79% or 0.45 to $56.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.37% or 0.87 to hit $62.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.40 to trade at $1248.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.51% to 9.8529, while USD/NOK rose 0.36% to 8.3788.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 93.91.
