Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Utilities and Media sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 3.80% or 0.56 points to trade at 15.30 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 1.57% or 2.6 points to end at 167.8 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) was up 1.46% or 2.10 points to 146.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which lost 3.40% or 2.85 points to trade at 81.05 in late trade. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 2.68% or 10.00 points to end at 362.70 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) shed 1.40% or 0.90 points to 63.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 105 to 74 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.40% or 0.19 to $47.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.66% or 0.35 to hit $52.40 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 9.02 to trade at $1339.42 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.47% to 9.2917, while USD/NOK fell 0.02% to 7.7971.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 92.46.
