Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Software & Computer Services and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 2.09% or 0.02 points to trade at 1.00 at the close. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) added 1.33% or 1.10 points to end at 83.60 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was up 1.18% or 1.7 points to 145.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which lost 4.35% or 1.53 points to trade at 33.92 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 3.65% or 2.45 points to end at 64.75 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 3.02% or 0.32 points to 10.28.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 109 to 66 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.13% or 0.59 to $51.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.50% or 0.87 to hit $57.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 7.61 to trade at $1290.61 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.36% to 9.4169, while USD/NOK fell 0.10% to 7.9523.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 93.02.
