Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Media, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA), which rose 20.46% or 43.7 points to trade at 257.3 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 3.02% or 5.80 points to end at 198.00 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 1.73% or 6.00 points to 353.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 1.65% or 1.05 points to trade at 62.70 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.29% or 0.40 points to end at 30.50 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 0.90% or 0.13 points to 14.34.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 110 to 73 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.88% or 0.48 to $55.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.06% or 0.64 to hit $61.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.64% or 8.17 to trade at $1269.93 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.06% to 9.4930, while USD/NOK rose 0.51% to 8.1791.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.87.
