Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Telecoms and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 7.77% or 1.69 points to trade at 22.96 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 3.53% or 1.41 points to end at 41.50 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was up 2.02% or 1.40 points to 70.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which lost 2.69% or 0.18 points to trade at 6.51 in late trade. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 2.63% or 1.64 points to end at 60.66 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) shed 1.91% or 0.93 points to 47.67.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 85 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.15% or 0.74 to $63.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.72% or 1.21 to hit $69.05 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1334.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.25% to 9.6416, while USD/NOK fell 0.06% to 7.8762.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 90.36.
